International Shipping Questions and Answers by BladeCrazy

We get a lot of questions about international orders and shipping.

For the most part, we ship all over the world, with certain exceptions.  Exceptions are handled on a case by case basis to minimize fraud.

  1. Which carriers do you use for international shipping?
    -
    Only USPS (United States Postal Service) is used for international shipping.  This is the most economical and least costly method.
  2. How much does international shipping cost?
    - We have found that 95% of the packages range in cost from $25 to $40 to anywhere in the world.  The best way to find out how much shipping costs is to go through the order process.  The website will automatically calculate the shipping cost for you, since there's only one option (USPS), you may accept the shipping and total and complete the order or decline and not complete the order.
  3. Is package tracking available for international shipments?
    - Unfortunately the USPS does not offer detailed international shipment tracking.  If  would like us to use UPS with tracking for international shipments, please note that the cost will be anywhere from 2 to 3 times that of USPS.  You may request UPS shipping after placing the order by emailing us or putting it in the comments field.
  4. What about domestic / local / customs (i.e. destination) taxes?
    - As the recipient of the package, you are fully responsible for any taxes imposed by the local authorities on any packages sent by us to you.  If you would like us to mark a package as a "Gift" or to mark the value of the package to a certain amount, please be sure to ask for it in the comments section.
  5. Are there any restrictions on shipping products internationally?
    - Certain destinations have local restrictions which do not allow some of our products to be shipped and accepted locally.  You are fully responsible for any issues arising from such restrictions.  Check your local laws before ordering from us.
    - Some products are not available for shipment overseas due to regulations here in the USA or manufacturer restrictions.
  6. What about Leatherman products?
    -
    Shipping Leatherman products overseas carries an additional shipping charge of $19.99.  This shipping charge is added onto your order after it is received.
  7. What happens if I don't get my product?
    - Once your order is shipped, it is no longer our responsibility.  Any issue for delivery, must be handled through the appropriate channels of the delivery company used (USPS in the case of international shipments).  We will do all that we can within reason to assist in tracking or recovering a package.
  8. What about warranty service?
    - All of our products carry the standard manufacturers warranty.  Any damaged products should be sent to the manufacturer for warranty service.  This may mean a round trip in terms of shipping costs to the USA or wherever the service center of the manufacturer is located.
  9. What about returning a product?
    - Products may be returned to us within 30 days of shipment and must be in their original packaging unopened (if possible) or unused.  PLEASE CONTACT US FIRST to receive a Return Materials Authorization number.  You must have this number before shipping a product back to us.  Shipping a product back to us is at your own cost.  There is a 15% restocking fee.
